The game is fun, but there are forced ads after every level and reward ads. you can pay to remove the forced ads, but not the reward ads. I would gladly pay to skip ALL ads, as I'm the type that refuses to play with ads. Also, the reward ads are basically required to continue progressing, otherwise the game gets stale very quickly.

This game is actually pretty good, it's time consuming, and if you hate ads, just play offline. The only reason this game doesn't get 5 stars is because later on I'n the game, it gets more boring and difficult. But, since, most of the later bosses are ranged, and don't move (most times) you can easily beat the bosses with ranged units. But during the industrial age, the bosses are ranged to the point of leaving only Long Ranged But overall, this game is one of the best games on the play store!

It's a great combination of strategy, merge, and RPG, in my opinion. So far, I'm at level 156 and the game seems very fair. So far, I haven't felt like it's pay-to-win nor do I feel like there's a pay wall. You can grind in practice battles to get coins and gems and upgrade your troops. And, it doesn't require a ridiculous investment of time. They also reward you enough that you can play for hours and stay motivated to reach for the next upgrade. It's a good game.
